Aerial Silks is a breathtaking art form where dancers climb, wrap, and perform beautiful poses and sequences using long fabric suspended from the ceiling. It builds strength, confidence, and creativity while giving dancers a thrilling sense of freedom as they learn to move in the air.

What makes Aerial Silks so special is that it doesn’t feel like “working out” kids are having so much fun they don’t even realize how much they’re gaining. It naturally improves core strength, upper-body strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness, all while boosting problem-solving skills and building trust in their own abilities. Every new skill gives them a real sense of accomplishment.

At Diamond Dance Academy, we offer a safe, supportive, and exciting environment for students to learn proper technique on the silks with certified instructors who prioritize safety and age-appropriate progressions.
 

Each class combines strength training, conditioning, creative movement, and skill-building on the fabric. The kids absolutely love it—there’s something magical about climbing into the air and learning tricks that make them feel strong, fearless, and proud.

We also offer private Aerial Silks lessons for dancers who want more individualized attention, accelerated progress, or extra time to master skills. Privates are perfect for building confidence and taking their training to the next level.
