No two students learn in the same way. Auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning are the three most common learning styles that we use to develop and master skills. Diamond Performance Company’s performing arts curriculum uses these learning styles to help students develop a variety of skills through dance. Areas such as, math skills, social/ emotional development, character development, gross motor skills, and more are all incorporated into our program in a way that differs from traditional learning methods. Our curriculum utilizes all three learning styles to provide students with new and innovative ways of retaining information. For example, instead of just learning to count 1, 2, 3, students will learn an 8 count and be able to connect auditory and kinesthetic learning styles to help solidify their understanding of math concepts. Here at Diamond Performance Company we focus on creating more than just dancers, our goal is to promote productive and self sufficient young people with the skills to achieve academic and personal success.
